The Shipping Process

Woody’s Hot Rodz Standard Shipping applies to the continental 48 United States. HI & AK will be handled on a case by case basis. Due to size and weight of most of our items, we only ship to a physical address (no PO Box) in the continental US. For any other shipping arrangements, please contact us via e-mail at [email protected] to determine if we are able to ship to your destination. Normal shipping method is UPS.

International Shipments

Woody’s Hot Rodz will ship internationally on a case-by-case basis, whether it is direct or to a receiving service with a US address. Buyer will be responsible for actual shipping as well as applicable duty and taxes. All international shipments must be quoted ahead of time by emailing [email protected] Some items may not be available for international shipment, or carry additional handling charges to do so. All international orders must be pre-paid via wire transfer.


Shipping charges for non-oversized, non-truck freight items will follow the following scale:

Purchases from $0 to $100.......................$9.99

Purchases from $100.01 to $250............$19.99

Purchases from $250.01 to $500............$29.99

Purchases from $500.01 to $700.............$39.99

Purchases from $700.01 to $1,000..........$49.99

Purchases from $1,000.01 & $2000.00...............$69.99

Purchases from $2,000.01 & up...............$79.99

* Shipping and handling fees apply to the contiguous 48 United States. HI, AK, and any international shipment will be handled on a case by case basis. Qualifying order total is based on product subtotal—taxes and non-standard shipping charges are not included as a qualifying cost. You are responsible for non-standard shipping charges such as special handling surcharges and oversize fees (where indicated), Truck Freight fees, expedited shipping, hazardous materials charges, etc. Offer is subject to adjustment due to returns, cancellations, and exchanges.


IMPORTANT: Body and Chassis Shipping

Shipping costs and arrangements are not including in selling price, and will be collected after initial order is placed. A sales representative will call you with the appropriated shipping charges. Listed here, prices are subject to change without notice due to sur-charges and fuel costs during transport.

NOTE: All chassis have a minimum 90 Day lead time. Shipping costs will be calculated with completed order and billed on the final invoice. 50% deposit on total amount of order due within 7 days of placing order via money order, cashier’s check, wire transfer etc. Personal checks will be taken, however the order for the chassis will not be placed until check has cleared. A $1000 credit card deposit may be made via phone at the time the order is taken to reserve the chassis. All frames will be assigned a sales number based on the date of the sale, shipments will be made first in - first out. Deposits are non-refundable once order for the frame has been placed.


Oversized Items:

Oversized items are those which exceed the normal size and/or weight limitations of our selected carriers and are therefore charged an additional fee to ship. Those items are noted throughout our website with "O/S."


Truck Freight:

Some items are too large to be shipped UPS and need to be shipped truck freight. These items are noted throughout our website. Orders requiring truck freight shipping cannot be shipped COD and must be prepaid with a credit card.

All sales requiring truck freight carry a 3-7 business day processing time and are unable to be canceled once placed (please see * below under returns about cancellation/processing fees).

Please note that, according to the freight companies we utilize, if there is no one at the delivery address to assist the driver with unloading the freight, you may be charged a $50 fee in addition to the freight charges already incurred.

Cancellation of Orders:
Orders canceled within 24 hours of business day purchase are subject to a 3% credit card processing fee (unless an error on the order placed over the phone). Our credit card processor automatically debits the payment at time of purchase, credits/refunds back to the original payment can take up to 14 business days to process, (see article about credit card refunds). Woody's Hot Rodz is not responsible for the customer purchasing the wrong part online, the customer ordering the item elsewhere, or simply changing their mind on the purchase, and a 3% credit card fee will be deducted from the refund.


Return Policy:

If you need to return a part to us for any reason, please call before shipping the part back to us. We will discuss the problem and issue a Return Merchandise Authorization number. Any item returned without an RMA number will assess an additional 10% restocking fee, and can take up to 30 days for refund to be processed.

-Unless the part is defective, or we shipped it to you in error, you will be responsible for all shipping charges incurred.

-All returns outside of erroneous parts will be subject to a 20% restocking fee, unless refunded as store credit or exchanged for another part.

-All returns/exchanges outside of defective component must be uninstalled, and in sellable condition. If an item bears any indication or being installed, it will not be accepted for return, and buyer will be responsible for return shipping. Any item outside of factory blister packaging, or with its original packaging discarded or destroyed, is not eligible for return outside of defect.

-Returns made within 30 days of receiving the part can be refunded via check or credit card refund.

-Returns made after 30 days of receiving the part will be given store credit, unless item is defective.

-Due to manufacturer restrictions, any part past 90 days of receipt is no longer eligible for return, whether defective or not.

-Due to non-refundable deposits paid to manufacturers, no returns/cancellations will be accepted on non-stocked "made to order" items once the initial order is placed, including but not limited to TMI interiors, custom frames/suspension components, wheels, radiators, etc.


Damaged Shipments:

Freight Shipments: Please inspect your package immediately upon receipt in the presence of the delivery person. Examine the box for any visible outside damage, as well as the parts inside for any hidden damage that may have occurred during shipping. If any damage is found, delivery of the damaged item alone MUST be refused in order for a damage claim to be processed through the freight shipper. Woody's must be notified within 24hrs of an item being refused. No shipping claims can be made for freight orders after 24hrs of refusal, or after an item has been accepted.

USPS/UPS/FedEx Shipments: In the event that your package is damaged in transit, you must notify Woody's Hot Rodz within 24hrs of receipt. No damage shipping claims will be taken more than 24hrs past point of delivery.

Defective Parts:

If we have shipped a defective part to you, please call us immediately.

-Defective/damaged parts will be made whole via replacement of said part, with no exceptions. Refusal of a proper functioning replacement will result in 20% restocking of said defective part once returned.


Parts Shipped in Error:

Please check all packages immediately upon receipt, and notify us within 7 days of delivery if you discover an erroneous part.

-Erroneous parts will be made whole via replacement of said part with the correct part, with no exceptions. Refusal of the correct replacement will result in 20% restocking of said part, once the incorrect part has been returned.


Undelivered Shipments:

UPS and most other carriers will leave a notice at the shipping address and/or return on another day to attempt delivery if they are unable to deliver your shipment to the specified address. If they are still unable to make delivery, the package will be returned to us. We will contact you to make further arrangements. If you refuse a shipment of parts which you ordered from us, the package will be returned to us. We will contact you to make further arrangements. In any of the above events, you will be required to pay the shipping charges incurred before we will reship the order or ship any new orders. You may also be subject to a 20% restocking charge.

Backordered Shipments:

All orders are charged at time of purchase for accounting purposes, regardless of stock status.

In the event that one or more items on your order are not in stock, Woody's policy is to automatically fulfill your order with the parts that are in stock as quickly as possible, and customer is to be alerted via email, and/or notification slip in the shipped order.

The backordered parts will then ship automatically once back into stock at Woody's. Larger backordered items will ship as they come available, where as if multiple smaller items are out of stock, the smaller items will only ship when the order complete. This process is completed at no additional shipping charge to the customer. Multiple shipments on smaller parts can be requested at additional cost.
