An excellent replacement to the original, this AC Delco sending unit is top notch. If your old unit no longer works, this will fix your problem. # 016 will work on any 1955-1957 classic Chevy.
Note:
The sending unit wire connector end will need to be changed to a spade type female connector when using this with a 1955.
